Who We Are

Meet The Owner, Ben Demarest

Ben is the founder and owner of Sage General Construction and proud community member in McCall Idaho. From the time he was a child he loved to work with his hands and create!

Fast forward a few years and Ben was given his start in the construction industry and never looked back. Ben started Sage General Construction after spending the last decade working in the residential construction field. In 2023 Ben and his spouse, Courtney, relocated to McCall to experience all the things Idaho has to offer.

With professional experience in all things residential construction. Ben has worked as an on-site tradesman, a technical sales representative for a building material manufacturer, and as the general manager for a local general contractor. Ben brings a unique skill set to work everyday.

“My goal when starting SGC was to use our experience and bring our clients a remodeling service that would help make their house look fantastic, but also keep budget in mind.” One of the cornerstones of Sage General Construction is delivering our services on a budget. With a little creativity and a low overhead small business model we have the ability to take on the small projects to upgrade your space or transform your whole house.

In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors, fly fishing on the local rivers, riding bikes in the mountains, and spending time with his family and dogs!
