Ben and his team did a full home renovation for my partner and me after we inherited my family home. The house needed a lot of work and we had the additional complexities of living in Portland and being parents to a newborn but Ben patiently and competently walked us through every step of the process. He met us at home improvement stores whenever we were in town and helped us select materials for the remodel. His knowledge of tile, flooring, etc, is extensive and it was a relief to us to have his knowledge and expertise. He kept us apprised of developments almost daily and did video walk throughs of the house when we couldn’t make it to Eugene to see the progress. The work he and his team did was beautiful and we seriously considered relocating to the home because of it but ultimately couldn’t make the move because of work. When we sold the home, Ben was available to answer questions for the buyers and we weren’t concerned about the home inspection process because of the quality of Ben

Ben, Tre and Mikey did an incredible job on our kitchen renovation. They were responsive and helpful throughout the planning process and extremely detail-oriented during the renovation. The quality of work, along with the communication and collaboration with this team was excellent. Not only did they set realistic expectations of how long the project would take, offer support with design, keep our living space clean, but the quality of work was exceptional. We completed a fairly large kitchen remodel and it was easy to have them in our home. In addition to the solid workmanship, they are also very pleasant and kind people who paid special attention to our puppy. Beautiful work. Professional. Exceeded expectations.

I could not recommend Ben and his crew more highly! From the first phone call all the way through our project I was very happy! They kept us updated on the schedule and timing of materials arriving. Everyone arrived on time, completed sub floor repairs and flooring replacement efficiently and we are so happy with the quality of the work at a reasonable price. Finding the right company to work on your home can be stressful and we are grateful to have found a wonderful talented company to work with and will definitely be calling again for future improvements. 10 Stars!! We could not possibly be more pleased with the extensive bathroom and bedroom job done by Sage General Construction! They were on time, on budget, super responsive, communicative, completely dependable and just darn good at what they do! They went above and beyond – not just doing the minimum but making sure that everything they touched was left in better shape than it was before. I also appreciated that they could be trusted with basic design decisions and were on top of any minor issues that cropped up. Consider yourself lucky to have these guys work for you!

Ben and his crew (shoutouts to Tre and Mikey!) were fantastic to work with. They put together an artisan-quality pair of bathrooms quickly, finishing right on schedule despite supply chain issues that hounded us. The guest bathroom tile in particular required a great deal of precision, and as far as I can tell all that tile is accurately placed to 1/16th of an inch and seamlessly continues patterning across walls, just incredible for such a tough tile to work with. They even had time leftover to take care of a few misc things – putting in a new kitchen sink, microwave, a new hallways door, etc. They cleaned the paths they took in the house as best they could at the end of each day so their impact on our life in the house was as minimal as it could be. I don’t think anyone else in Eugene could have created the bathrooms we wanted as well as they did, much less in just 6 weeks while keeping adjacent living areas clean enough. I recommend Sage General Construction for any of your remodel needs. Ben was recommended to us by a coworker. He listened to my ideas, drew up the design and delivered beyond what I had imagined in our space. Ben and Mikey were both very easy to work with, they were accommodating working around our family living in the space throughout the remodel. Ben communicated the timeline so we always new what to expect throughout the project. I can’t thank Sage General Construction enough for our beautiful new kitchen and fireplace!

Sage General Construction overhauled my little kitchen in a mid-century house. I wanted to have an up-dated refresh without killing the quirky charm of what the house is and why I love my space. Ben and Mike totally got it. They are true craftsmen – they know what they can do and they do it with precision and economy. I appreciated how Ben gives you lots of information ahead of time. You aren’t going to go in to a renovation with this company with any blindness. Though, of course, because of the current state of things, you will have to be prepared for some supply-side surprises. If you are so lucky to have Sage General Construction work on your home, the first thing I think you ought to know is that these are people who really know what they are doing and care about the details. My advice is to step back when they come to work – these are honest and talented professionals. Give them room to do what they can do. You won’t regret it. Bonus: these are also honest and transparent business

We chose Sage to create a master bed/bath. They are the most professional, skilled, and honest people I’ve ever worked with. Professionalism: At every turn, I was treated with respect, and my children were treated with patience and kindness. I am at home most of the day with my two young girls. I am grateful that there was never any offensive music, foul language, or smoking. Ben, Mikey, and Caleb worked thoughtfully, so that our homelife was not interrupted any more than necessary. They are the most wholesome crew I’ve ever worked with. Ben also hand-picks his plumbers and electricians, which also made me feel comfortable. Remember that you’re going to have teams of men in your space, probably for a month at least. It’s hard to know at the beginning if you’re making the right choice, which is why I’m writing this review. This is the right choice. You don’t have to settle for smelly dudes who show up late, frighten your kids, and smoke on your property. You can have a clean crew in you

Ben and his crew are beyond amazing!!! We were searching for someone to remodel our under staircase storage into a unique wine cellar! The results far, far exceeded our expectations. The result is a true piece of art and a show stopper in our home! They also updated our kitchen (countertops and backsplash) and resurfaced our fireplaces. Ben is wonderful at communication, ALWAYS returning my calls promptly. He said they would arrive at 7:45 on his first day and they were there on the nose. He was very transparent with costs. He is kind, understanding and incredibly patient. The craftsmanship was superb. We can’t wait to use him for our other projects in the future. Thank you Ben and Sage!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Ben and his team just finished a major remodel (entire first floor) of our home within budget and ahead of schedule. Sage is so easy to work with, open and clear communication throughout the project, great at managing budgets and helpful with design. The team is thoughtful and courteous and each one is a very skilled craftsman. I will definitely have then back next year to remodel the lower floor!

It has been great working with Sage to upgrade our kitchen. Ben takes pride in doing excellent work for a reasonable price. He is very professional- responds quickly to emails, arrived on time each day, kept me abreast of anything that came up, had great ideas. I am really enjoying the beautiful work they did and look forward to some other projects in the future.

We recently had our converted garage remodeled into an updated living space. Ben and Mike did an amazing job! They were clear with their communication and were easy to work with. During the remodel I was working from home and they were great about being flexible during the process. They are also dog lovers and were really kind to our two pups, which reduced a lot of stress knowing that the dogs were comfortable with Ben and Mike being in their space. Ben and his crew at Sage are top-notch. By far the best home improvement company I’ve ever used. When it comes to home improvement/remodeling, you get what you pay for. Do your research, but I’d recommend starting with Revive first. I definitely plan on using them again in the future for a bathroom remodel. The company has ‘Revived” my confidence in good old fashioned local service.

We are more than pleased with the remodel work performed by Ben and his team with Sage General Construction. A major “revivement” of our master bathroom was completed and the results are awesome. Ben proved to be very reliable, timely, courteous and highly dedicated to his craft. A budget was worked out and maintained throughout the project. He was a wealth of ideas and knowledge, and earned great respect for the cleanliness he left the site in every day. We recommend Ben and Sage General Construction without hesitation. Ben did a fantastic job with the remodel of our master bath. It’s the bathroom we have always wanted. He was very professional and patient with us. Would definitely reccomend him every time and he will be our first call the next time we need to remodel.

Ben came to our home promptly after we called to set an appointment. He was professional and respectful of our home. He did a very through inspection and estimation. He spent a few hours just assessing our roof damage and carefully making an estimation of cost and time. He gave us a very accurate estimate and was clear with his concerns about our problem areas. When he came to do the work it was exactly as he said it would be. He was respectful of our property he got the job done precisely and quickly.
